1. Who you are dealing with
This store, shoppeakspan.com, is operated by 1313 GEROPROTECT L.L.C-FZ, trading as Peakspan, registered at Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Peakspan", "we", "us"). By using this store or placing an order you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the store.
2. Using this store
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. You agree to give accurate contact and delivery information, and to keep your account details secure if you create an account.
You may not use this store for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation, or to copy, scrape or resell its content without our written permission.
3. Products, descriptions and images
We describe our products as accurately as we can, including their dimensions, power requirements and what is in the box. Photographs and renders are illustrative; colours vary between screens and minor design changes can occur between production runs.
Availability is not guaranteed until we accept your order. If a product you have ordered is unavailable, we will tell you and refund you in full.
4. Prices, currency and tax
Prices are shown in UAE dirhams (AED). The price you pay is the price shown at checkout. Applicable taxes and any delivery charge are shown before you confirm payment, and no charge is added afterwards.
No sales tax or VAT is added at checkout — the price shown is the price you pay.
Prices can change at any time before you place an order. A change after you have ordered does not affect an order we have already accepted.
5. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch the goods, whichever happens first. An automated acknowledgement of receipt is not acceptance.
We may decline or cancel an order — for example where a price or description was obviously wrong, where stock is unavailable, where we cannot deliver to your address, or where we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.
6. Delivery
Delivery is governed by our Shipping policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
7. Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund policy, which forms part of these terms and includes our 30-day money-back guarantee.
8. Safe use of our equipment
Our products are consumer equipment for use at home. Read the manual supplied with the product before you use it and follow the safety warnings, the operating limits and the maintenance schedule it sets out.
Cold immersion, heat exposure and light-based devices are not suitable for everyone. If you are pregnant, have a heart or circulatory condition, low or high blood pressure, epilepsy, diabetes, a skin condition, are taking photosensitising medication, or are being treated for any medical condition, speak to a qualified doctor before using our equipment. Nothing we publish is medical advice, and our products are not offered as a treatment, cure or diagnosis for any condition.
Do not leave children or anyone who needs supervision unattended with our equipment. Installation that requires plumbing or electrical work must be done by a qualified professional in line with UAE regulations.
9. Warranty
Each product is supplied with the manufacturer's warranty stated on its product page and in the documentation supplied with it. Warranty cover is in addition to your statutory rights and to our refund policy.
10. Intellectual property
The Peakspan name, logo, site design, photography and text are owned by us or licensed to us. You may not use them without our written permission. Peakspan is a trade name used by 1313 GEROPROTECT L.L.C-FZ; product names and marks belonging to third parties remain theirs.
11. Limitation of liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, for business losses, or for loss caused by your failure to follow the product manual or the safety warnings.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
